Aurora is where I’ve done more business than anywhere else, including 24 sales in the Village Green and McCarty Park area. Here’s what happened in the Aurora housing market in the third quarter of 2026 (July through September), compared with the same three months last year, using sales data from the MRED multiple listing service.

Village Green and McCarty Park: the last 12 months

My home neighborhood in Aurora is small, so a quarter doesn’t tell you much. Here’s the last 12 months (October 2025 through September 2026) for the two MLS subdivisions that make up most of it:

  • Pine Meadows: 7 sales, averaging about $480,000, with homes selling in about 23 days on average.
  • Pheasant Creek: 10 sales, averaging about $372,000, with homes selling in about 18 days on average.

Homes in both subdivisions are selling in under a month. See my Village Green neighborhood guide for more on the area.

What this means if you’re selling in Aurora

Demand is still there, but more listings means buyers can be choosier. Homes that show well and are priced to the closest sales are still moving in about a month on average. Ones that miss on price sit.

Want to see the sales behind these numbers? My Homes Sold page lists every sale I’ve closed, including 63 in Aurora (43 as the listing agent). For more on the town itself, see my Aurora community guide.
